The WordStar command set was used in many programs and allows you to navigate and edit your documents or program code without constantly reaching for the mouse, or remembering arbitrary ALT, SHIFT, and Function key combinations to enter a command. This program returns those keys to you in place of the illogical Word command set.
The 20 or so commands provided give full basic cursor movement. The registered version adds many block operations, find/replace and others, totalling over 110 WordStar commands.
If you are experienced with WordStar, are a touch typist, or just want a more efficient way of entering text into your word processor, but you're stuck with Word because 'everyone else uses it', then this add-in is for you.
The program is easy to install - you just need to place one file in your Word Startup folder - and it will be available to all your Word documents, and within Outlook if you set it to use Word as your email editor. It does not modify your own style templates, making it safe to use. You can also 'switch' it on or off, to go back to the standard Word commands, at will.
