 | HVLJFont - Soft Fonts for LaserJet Printers 1.0 |    | The HVLJFont package provides downloadable PCL "soft" fonts for use with HP compatible Laserjet printers. The fonts can be used with MS-DOS, Window's terminal programs, Unix, Linux, Macintosh, and IBM's AS/400 system.
They are particularly valuable if you have a Laser printer that does NOT provide fixed pitch fonts that are scalable, or sufficiently legible.
These highly legibility, fixed pitch fonts are based on ProCon's HVFont design.
Sizes range from a miniscule 50cpi, 3pts, right up to a large 8.33cpi, 17pts.
The sizes from 30cpi to 15cpi are the most useful as few printers produce readable text at these sizes with their native fonts. |

PrnSet is a non-resident universal printer setter. You can fit any
v 3.00 printer by editing a data file with an ASCII editor. New:
output redirection from the command line and big numbers for
head-positioning to allow multi-across labels .
CountPgs gets information about the file: Number, length, & width of
v 3.53 pages; presence of: Left Margin, FF's, ragged ends, tabs,
high-bit (usually graphics) characters, bare CR's, misplaced
^Z's, over-size pages, et al.
CRout (new program) removes CR-with-overprint from files which make
v 1.10 underline and boldface that way. Can replace it with any print
control symbols required (including PrnSert's).
Mangler does several kinds of minor surgery: insert FF's, add/strip
v 2.90 margin, add/strip terminal blanks, break file into parts, re-
move/replace strings, UN-paginate, reverse order of pages, re-
move headers, swap frontsy-backsy around CR's, cvt hi-bit
graphix boxes to '|', '-' & vice-versa, cvt Unix & DOS line-
ends, soften hard returns. New: end non-empty lines with blank.
Pagina breaks an unpaged file into pages, with or w/o headers, foot-
v 3.31 ers & margins. _Lots_ of choice about the headers & footers.
Prn2Both divides a paged file for printing on both sides of the paper
v 2.23 (print odd pages, turn over, & print even pages on the back).
Can make proper margins and reverse headers and footers if
necessary.
PrnSert if you insert print control instructions in a text file, using
v 2.00 PrnSet's command line style, PrnSert will read and print the
text, interpreting the print control instructions according
to your regular PrnSet data file. New: multi-across labels.
